Moving in Victory
Die to self.
Die to despair.
Die to defeat.
I have called you to be more than a conqueror.
Do I not still fight battles?
Assuredly I do.
I fight for My children.
I laid down My life.
I won the biggest battle of all.
Remind yourself of where you are seated.
For you are seated with Me in heavenly places.
Therefore, the enemy of doubt, the enemy of lack,
Is already under your feet.
Crush his head with the Word. He is already a defeated foe.
Although your adversary will seek to walk about as a roaring lion, promoting fear.
My child, let the Lion of the Tribe of Judah roar.
Let My Word come forth and see your enemies scatter.
Let Him Who is your strength equip you.
For it is not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit that you go forth,
In victory.
There was a great exchange that was purchased in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Isaiah 53 describes this event. But the story of this covenant begins back in Genesis 22 when God instructs Abraham to offer his only son Isaac as a burnt offering. Isaac — the son of promise. Abraham’s only son whom he loved.
God tested Abraham’s faith, “concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead” (Hebrews 11:17). And just as Isaac carried the wood on his back for the offering that day, Jesus Christ carried a wooden cross on His back to be the sin offering for all mankind. We simply cannot out give God. Abraham’s obedience was tested to see if he would offer Isaac, and Abraham passed the test. Therefore, God offered up His only beloved Son, Jesus.
Covenant requires a blood sacrifice, and Jesus gave His life to redeem us from our sins so we might be made righteous by His shed blood. But it gets better. When you receive Christ as Lord, you enter a covenant relationship with Him. You exchange what you have and freely receive what the Father gives. When you put a demand on the anointing and the Anointed One, Jesus Christ, you reach into the heavenly kingdom and bring heaven to earth.
So, what are you ready to lay down today? What do you exchange to receive your victory? What is it you need? It’s already been made available. Psalms 23:1 says that the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
So, speak your victory.
